Sapper of humanitarian demining

He studied at the Humanitarian Demining Training Center in Kamianets-Podilskyi.

“The primary qualities of a sapper are, first of all, restraint, systematic thinking and attention to detail,” says Oleksiy.

He decided to be useful to people in this difficult time for the country, so he chose the path of a sapper.

“I think this field will develop quite quickly and dynamically. Currently, Ukraine is the most mined country in the world.

That's why, unfortunately, there will be enough work for more than one generation,” Oleksiy continues: “I dream, probably like most Ukrainians, of our victory and the soonest possible end to the war.”
