Soltis Vladimir

Sapper of humanitarian demining

Vladimir holds a higher education degree in Computer Systems Engineering. Prior to joining the UDS team, he worked as a merchandiser.
"I want to be useful and contribute to the restoration of our country. The occupiers left behind a huge amount of mines and ammunition, posing a threat to the lives of our children, loved ones, and all Ukrainians. I can't even imagine how many years it will take to clear Ukrainian lands, but I can confidently say that I will do everything possible to live in a safe and free country," - this is how Vladimir explains his choice to work at UDS.
Vladimir obtained a deminer certification from the "Center for Humanitarian Demining Training" in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
He considers attentiveness and responsibility to be the most important skills for a deminer, as they are the foundation for safe demining operations.
