"Sergey graduated from the Kyiv Military Institute of Management and Communications and holds the rank of lieutenant colonel. He is a reserve officer of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Currently, Sergey has been sent to study at the Interregional Center for Humanitarian Demining and Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine to improve his skills and gain practical experience - skills in working with mine detectors, a filter, a probe, learning the principles of each munition, searching for and dismantling explosive devices.ㅤSergey is convinced that in this war of liberation, everyone has to contribute to the victory.
He talks about his profession:ㅤ"Like all Ukrainians, I hope that the war will end soon with our victory. But I understand that even after the victory, there will be enough work to "liberate" our land, because the territory is heavily contaminated and sappers will play an important role in rebuilding the country. The profession is relevant, honorable and extremely important. There is a lot of work ahead that requires sappers. Safe life on the territories liberated from the occupiers will depend on us, among other things."
