Sapper of humanitarian demining

A professional sapper, Serhiy underwent training and earned qualifications in the field. He previously pursued studies at Kyiv Optical-Mechanical Technical College, specializing in "Operation and repair of optical and optical-medical devices."

Since May 2022, he has been actively engaged in work within Ukraine. He played a pivotal role in one of the initial humanitarian demining teams in the de-occupied Kharkiv region, subsequently extending his efforts to the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.

"I take pride in carrying forward the sapper legacy with UDS! It's a profound desire to contribute to our country and society by completely eradicating the deadly menace, such as mines and explosive devices, from our fertile land," Serhiy affirms.

Confidence, attentiveness, and courage are identified as the primary qualities of a sapper, according to Serhiy.
His aspiration aligns with that of all Ukrainians: "Our victory and the dismantling of Russia! The cleansing of Ukrainian lands from all this malevolence!"
