Gushel Igor

Head of Humanitarian Demining Unit

He studied at the Humanitarian Demining Training Center and received the profession of "Deminer (demining) level II".
He worked as a driver for more than 20 years, and during the full-scale invasion of Russia joined the territorial defense forces of Ukraine.
He believes that the most important things for a sapper are attentiveness, calmness, practice and constant learning of new material.
"I chose the profession of a sapper because I could not stay away from how the enemy was destroying our country, and it was in this profession that I felt my calling. Sappers have a lot of work to do during the war, and will have even more after it ends. I believe in our victory and dream of a free and independent Ukraine that we will all appreciate," says Igor.
