Head of Humanitarian Demining Unit
By profession, he is a lawyer. He has been involved in humanitarian demining for almost two years. In 2023, he joined the UDS team and has since cleared several hectares of Ukrainian land. He underwent training at the Interregional Center for Humanitarian Demining and Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service and holds a deminer's certificate.
"Everyone should contribute to our victory and do everything possible to defeat the enemy and rebuild our country. Unfortunately, a large part of Ukraine is now contaminated with explosives, and demining work will last for decades. I want our motherland to be safe for life after the victory. That's why I chose the profession of a deminer," says Artem.
For a deminer, the most important qualities are inner balance, attentiveness, and a willingness to learn new things.
