Technical inspection and EOD of the land of LLC "Vygidna Pokypka" 13.18 hectares

Work Location: Stoyanka village, Bilohorodska Territorial Community, Buchan district, Kyiv region.Land Owner/User: LLC "Vygidna Pokypka".Work Period: September 27, 2024 - October 4, 2024.Area (hectares): 13.8 hectares.Teams Involved:Mechanized demining team #2 (led by Igor Hushel).Mechanized demining team #4 (led by Valeriy Yakhno).
"A large number of detonated remnants of unexploded ordnance (UXO) of various modifications and calibers, which were used to shell the surveyed areas, were found in this area. In particular, there were two aerial bombs and a threat of 82mm mortar mines. Using the method of explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) and technical inspection with a handheld metal detector, UDS demining teams carried out the clearance. Now these lands pose no threat and can be used for their intended purpose," said Mykola Fliorko, UDS work manager.
The work was carried out in accordance with order No. 1375 of September 26, 2024.
The state has assumed responsibility for the 13.18 hectares demined by UDS and issued a certificate of transfer of responsibility for the cleared/demined UDS territory.
