Clearing hostilities from a 20.2 hectare plot of land owned by Agroholding "PAEK"

Location of work: Kyselivka village, Mykolaiv district, Mykolaiv region, Pervomaysk territorial community.
Land owner/user: LLC "Southern Agro-Export Company".
Period of work: April 13, 2024 - August 13, 2024.
Area: 20.2 hectares.
Groups involved in the work: Mechanized demining groups No. 1 and No. 2.
Head of operations: Igor Paraliush.

Demining services for these land plots were provided free of charge by UDS LLC under a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Mykolaiv District Military Administration.

"On plot number 11 (polygon 2), the following unexploded ordnance was found: 56 S8 unguided rockets, 34 120mm mortar rounds, 1 120mm Nona shell, 1 Smerch rocket, and 1 Uragan rocket. All these remnants of war were destroyed by our sappers," said Igor Paraliush, head of operations.

The state has assumed responsibility for the 20.2 hectares demined by UDS and issued a certificate of transfer of responsibility for the cleared/demined territory by UDS. The relevant document on clearing the land of unexploded ordnance was personally handed over to Inna Boyko, acting director of LLC "SP "PAEK", by Serhiy Simonov, commercial director of UDS.

Serhiy Simonov, commercial director of UDS, expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation in conducting humanitarian demining of mined territories and returning them to life. Inna Boyko, acting director of LLC "SP "PAEK", also emphasized the importance of state support in financing the full range of humanitarian demining works, in particular, non-technical surveys, which should currently be financed by agrarians.

The work was carried out in accordance with orders No. Р-336 dated April 11, 2024; No. 477 dated May 8, 2024; No. 686 dated June 12, 2024; No. 876 dated July 12, 2024; and No. 1079 dated August 12, 2024.
