Demining using machines and mechanisms

"It's no secret that Ukraine is currently the most polluted country in the world due to the aggression of the Russian Federation. And demining is one of the most important stages in returning Ukraine to its normal pre-war time. My mechanized demining group received a site near the village of Vysunsk, Mykolaiv region, which, according to the results of the NTS, is contaminated. As the head of work on this site, drawing up a Demining Plan based on direct and indirect evidence and other factors, he chose the method of demining – Battle area clearance. The peculiarity of this site was that it belongs to the lands of the forest area of the State Forestry Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine", which are important in that they need to be planted in the shortest possible time. Therefore, other mechanized demining groups of the Company were involved in the work. The work was carried out promptly and smoothly. And as a result, ZSh122 caliber artillery shells were found on the site and transferred to the State Emergency Service for destruction. If we talk about difficulties in work, then there are none, because this is a common job for me and the guys. The greatest blessing in work is when, at the end of the working day, each sapper returns safe and sound. This is the most important and valuable," said Artem Duduliak, head of the mechanized demining group No. 1 of UDS.
