At UDS, we have defined a structural approach to cleaning up areas contaminated with explosive ordnance (explosives) as a result of hostilities.
The main goal of the Combat Area Clearance (MOD) process is to identify explosives through a visual survey of territories or using specialized search tools.
MOD is carried out after passing Bozena 4+ or Bozena 5+ machines. ODBD processes can be either completely manual or with partial use of a Bozen machine, which significantly speeds up and reduces the cost of the cleaning process.
The UDS can carry out the process of ORVBD of 7 demining groups.
The main components of the MOD process include:
● Maintaining the constant readiness of our employees and equipment for demining operations;
● Search and detection of ammunition;
● Ensuring the transfer to authorized bodies for further destruction of explosive remnants of war;
● Carrying out internal quality control of the work performed on MOD;
● Implementation of measures for labor protection and medical support;
● Accounting and reporting on the results of work on UDS;
● External quality control by authorized bodies;
● Transfer of land to ultimate beneficiaries.
We take all necessary measures to ensure the maximum safety of employees and the local population during work with MOD, adhering to the highest standards of quality and efficiency, including international ones.
