UDS uses the best modern technologies and robotic equipment to ensure safe and effective demining of territories.
Our goal is not only to protect the life and health of our specialists but also to ensure high productivity. In this way, we optimize the costs and time required to perform the tasks of cleaning up contaminated areas.
UDS has 7 mechanical demining teams. Of these, 5 groups use Bozena 5+ vehicles and 9 sappers work in each of these groups. Two mechanical demining groups use the Bozena 4+ vehicle, each of these groups employs 8 sappers. Also UDS has its vehicles for transporting vehicles - trawls.
According to the technical note of the Mine Action Center of Ukraine, machine-assisted demining significantly reduces the time required to complete the task, as they lower the cost of demining operations and increase their productivity, provided they are properly integrated into the demining process.
The use of specialized machines and mechanisms allows you to prepare the soil, providing easier access to explosive objects. This includes a variety of activities, including cutting vegetation, removing obstructions, loosening the soil, and more.
Manual demining operations can be conducted independently or in conjunction with other demining methods. For each demining project, we meticulously formulate detailed plans and strategies, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.
Our machines allow us to perform various functions: from preparing the area to detecting and destroying hazards, ensuring greater efficiency in the demining process. We are proud of our contribution to cleaning up contaminated areas for the people who live or work there, and we are always looking for ways to improve our demining methods and techniques.
