An 80mm artillery shell was discovered by UDS demining teams near the village of Kozyntsi, Kyiv region, during mechanized demining operations.

"We have already excavated the munition, marked it, and provided security. We are currently awaiting an order from the Central Mine Action Center for its destruction. After receiving the document, the munition will be destroyed and disposed of in accordance with established procedures," said Eduard Drach, Technical Director of UDS.

As a reminder, UDS is conducting demining operations in the village of Kozyntsi on an agricultural field belonging to the Institute of Potato Growing of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

Currently, three UDS humanitarian demining teams are working there, using Bozena 5+ remotely controlled machines.
