We have started clearing the lands of Agat Agro M LLC

UDS has begun the clearance of 254.2 hectares belonging to Agat Agro M LLC, located in the Hostomel settlement territorial community of Bucha district, Kyiv region.

The site supervisor is Mykola Florko.

The operation involves 10 deminers, two Bozena 5+ machines, and two mechanized demining groups. Forces from the UDS Humanitarian Demining Department “Center” are engaged in the work.

The operations are carried out under a subcontracting partnership agreement with Global Demining and commissioned by the Humanitarian Demining Center.

We apply a comprehensive set of humanitarian demining methods: technical survey using machines and mechanisms, as well as NTS/TS methods and EOD operations.

The threats in the area include both indirect and direct evidence of potential danger. This productive agricultural land has not been used since 2022, although it had been actively cultivated before the full-scale invasion, after which all agricultural activities ceased.

Local residents report fears about the possible presence of explosive remnants of war, which led to the abandonment of the land.

Direct evidence confirms the risks: the area was temporarily occupied by Russian forces, and active hostilities took place here. On the neighboring field, behind the tree line, ammunition depots and fortifications of Russian troops were located. According to local residents, these sites were struck, causing prolonged detonations. Craters and other characteristic signs of damage are also present on the territory.

Our goal is to safely return this land to agricultural use so the community can restore normal farming operations.
