We have commenced the clearance of agricultural land belonging to the “VIKTAN” farming enterprise

The 19.4-hectare site is located near the village of Vysunsk, Bashtanka district, Mykolaiv region. The operations manager is Denys Yerkhov.

Based on the results of the Non-Technical Survey (NTS), a number of threats were identified, including unexploded ordnance (UXO) of Category II, cluster munitions, and other explosive remnants.

“During the period of active hostilities in the Vysunsk area, enemy columns were passing through, intensive artillery shelling took place, MLRS were operating, and Ukrainian Armed Forces helicopters carried out strikes on Russian forces. Part of the enemy’s equipment was concealed on the outskirts of the nearby forest, which resulted in significant contamination of the farm’s territory with explosive remnants.

The work is being carried out on behalf of the Humanitarian Demining Center.
