Undergoing the scheduled annual monitoring for the "Underwater Demining" process
UDS hold a certificate of conformity for the "Underwater Demining" process, issued by the State Certification Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on November 21, 2024. In accordance with national requirements, annual monitoring of the mine action operator's activities is conducted throughout the certificate's three-year validity period.
Today, representatives of the certification body are carrying out an on-site conformity assessment, verifying our high quality standards and the team's readiness to execute the most complex tasks.

During the monitoring, our diver-deminers demonstrate the application of core demining methods:
βοΈ Diver search using the "one diver β one pass" method;
βοΈοΈ Trawling using a guide guy line;
βοΈ Trawling with a hemp rope.
All of these methods are included in the company's SOPs and fully comply with the requirements of the national standard DSTU 8820:2023.
UDS have all the necessary equipment to perform these tasks, including Ukrainian-made gear and detection systems.
Today, we are the first and only non-governmental mine action operator in Ukraine with proven experience in underwater demining. UDS were the first to implement a pilot project on humanitarian clearance of a water body β on a section of the artificial canal of the Zdvizh River in the Bucha district, Kyiv region, within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation with the State Agency of Water Resources of Ukraine.
