UDS. Work of Calling. Worthy Results.

UDS. Work of Calling. Worthy Results.

On the occasion of the third anniversary of UDS, a company-wide review meeting was held at our Kyiv office. Company executive leadership, heads of departments, team leaders, deminers, assistant deminers, mechanics, and paramedics gathered together.

The team reviewed the current state of operations and addressed complex field challenges. The head of the enterprise presented strategic and tactical plans. Key presentations were delivered by the Security Director, Chief Financial Officer, Technical Director, and the Deputy General Director of UDS.

Special appreciation was extended to the female deminers of UDS, who consistently demonstrate outstanding results in the field:

“Around 30% of our team are women who, alongside men, carry out demanding humanitarian demining tasks every single day. Thank you for your professionalism, resilience, and commitment to our shared mission,” emphasized Technical Director Eduard Drach.

The team also engaged in an open Q&A session with management. Key discussions focused on updating health and life insurance conditions as well as further upgrading logistical and technical support.

Following the operational discussion, the gathering transitioned into an official awards ceremony recognizing colleagues' personal achievements.

A point of immense pride was the official recognition of our team by regional military administrations. For courage and dedication demonstrated during emergency response under martial law, exemplary service, and high professionalism:

  1. Deminer Dmytro Zalevskyi was awarded a Letter of Commendation from the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration;
  2. Head of the Humanitarian Demining Department “East” Ihor Ovcharuk was awarded an Honorary Certificate from the Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

The company also celebrated the career advancement of assistant deminers whose field performance earned them official promotion to fully certified deminers. The head of the company noted that most UDS managers started their professional journeys as assistants and field deminers, proving that the enterprise provides clear pathways for career growth.

To mark this professional milestone, honorary "UDS Protective Talisman Bracelets" were presented to 8 newly promoted deminers: Oleksii Ponomarenko, Volodymyr Zinkevych, Yevhen Merkulov, Oleksandr Chichikal, Maksym Terebylo, Maksym Moskalenko, Anatolii Vakulchuk, and Anatolii Redka.

We are proud of our team, keep building our impact, and move forward with confidence!
