UDS will conduct a non-technical survey of 370 hectares of land for the Snigurivka Professional Lyceum
The demining will be carried out under a service agreement between UDS and the Snigurivka Professional Lyceum, with the support of the Snigurivka City Council.
"UDS implements a responsible and structured approach to conducting non-technical surveys of areas that may be contaminated with explosive remnants of war. NTS is a key stage in humanitarian demining. This is the first step towards clearing Ukrainian lands of explosive remnants of war. This is a very responsible mission, as the effectiveness of subsequent sapper work depends on the NTS specialists," noted UDS Commercial Director Serhii Symonov.
The Director of the Snigurivka Professional Lyceum, Viktoriia Khomyakova, highlighted the importance of this work for the restoration of the educational process: "Demining the land by the UDS team will create a safe environment for practical training of future agricultural engineers, providing them with the opportunity to learn and acquire practical skills without any threat to life and health," stated Viktoriia Khomyakova, Director of the Snigurivka Professional Lyceum.
The southern base of UDS, which employs more than 50 sappers, is located in Snihurivka.
