UDS to Collaborate with Two District Hospitals During Humanitarian Demining in Mykolaiv Oblast
In the process of conducting non-technical survey as part of the humanitarian demining efforts in Mykolaiv Oblast, UDS will collaborate with two district hospitals.
During the non-technical survey conducted by the medical service of UDS, connections were established with medical institutions, and response plans for emergencies were signed and coordinated with the management of the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise "Bereznehuvatska Central District Hospital" and the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise "Velykooleksandrivska Central District Hospital."
This is a crucial step to ensure proper work, safe working conditions, and appropriate response to potential hazardous situations.
As a reminder, UDS groups started work on the first stage of humanitarian demining in the territories of Murakhivsky Forestry yesterday—non-technical survey. All non-technical survey activities will be completed by February 17.
The subsequent stages will include:
— Delivery of Bozena 5 demining systems and coordination of 9 demining groups involving no fewer than 72 sappers. — Conducting humanitarian demining of designated mined areas up to 50 hectares using Bozena demining systems and clearing them of remnants of war.
