UDS tasks in Kharkiv Region for 2026

During the meeting of the Mine Action Coordination Center under the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, UDS presented the key tasks and operational priorities for 2026 in Kharkiv region.

UDS targets for 2026:

🔹 3,500 ha — to clear and demin

🔹 7,500 ha — to survey

🔹 80 employees — in the UDS “East” Humanitarian Demining Department

🔹 UAH 20 million in taxes — to be contributed to the budget of the Rohanska Territorial Community

Key focus areas for 2026:

🔺 Deployment of an additional 12 Germina URCM-3000 demining machines;

🔺 Launch of forest and water area clearance operations — a new operational direction for UDS in Kharkiv region.

Implementation of these tasks will significantly accelerate the pace of humanitarian demining, expand the geographical scope of operations, increase safety for civilians, and create new jobs in the region.

UDS continues its systematic work to restore safety, revive economic activity, and support the sustainable development of communities in Kharkiv region.
