UDS successfully passed an on-site assessment of its HMA processes

💬 “In connection with the expansion of the UDS team, the certification body carried out an on-site assessment of our processes. From 13 to 15 November, SESU specialists thoroughly inspected all key areas of our mine action activities and noted the high level of our team’s preparedness. UDS will continue to adhere to high safety and quality standards, as these are our core values,” said Serhii Tsykeniuk, Deputy Technical Director and Head of the Humanitarian Demining Department “Center”.

The on-site assessment included a review of the following demining processes:

🔹 technical survey;

🔹 mine risk education for the population;

🔹 manual demining.

The assessment was carried out by specialists of the Certification and Quality Assurance Unit of the Interregional Humanitarian Demining and Rapid Response Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

We would like to remind you that the UDS team currently numbers 281 people. Over the next six months, we plan to expand it further.
