UDS started its work in the village of Kyselivka, Mykolaiv region
UDS sappers carry out demining and clearance on an area of 25 hectares. The site is heavily contaminated with explosive remnants from war, and there is evidence of mines and cluster munitions.
The work is carried out by 3 groups of mechanized demining, each group is equipped with Bozena5+ machines. Also, the task of clearing the area of hostilities here is carried out by a separate group of clearing the areas of hostilities.
We work by the order of the Mine Action Center "On the admission of personnel of the mine action operator to perform humanitarian demining (mechanized demining,)" dated April 11.
In total, 64 UDS sappers are currently working in the region, who are equipped with appropriate equipment and demining equipment.
The work is supervised by UDS Technical Director Eduard Drach. Our Technical Director is an experienced engineer trained in the EU in demining with machines and mechanisms.
