UDS secures a state contract by submitting the lowest bid in the tender

The project covers 90 hectares of agricultural land managed by the State Land Bank in Kharkiv Oblast.

Client: Humanitarian Demining Center.

“We are able to offer the lowest prices because we operate the largest fleet of demining machines, which significantly accelerates the pace of work,” noted Oleksandr Romaniuk, Acting CEO and Chief Financial Officer of UDS.

The site is located near the village of Verkhnya Rohanka. The settlement was situated in the active combat zone and under occupation at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, leaving the surrounding areas with a high level of explosive hazard.

Specifically, the site presents the following categories of hazards:

  1. Anti-personnel mines;
  2. Unexploded ordnance (Category II UXO);
  3. Abandoned explosive ordnance (Category I AXO);
  4. Cluster munitions.

Additionally, the area features challenging terrain and dense vegetation. Deploying mechanical demining systems will ensure thorough ground preparation and the safe neutralisation of explosive items, while minimising the exposure of deminers in the hazardous area.

“We strictly adhere to the schedule and plan to complete the full scope of humanitarian demining activities at this site by the end of November,” concluded Eduard Drach, Chief Technical Officer of UDS.
