UDS sappers surveyed 500 hectares of the territory of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences

Sappers of the National Mine Action Operator Ukrainian demining services completed a non-technical survey of an agricultural plot of land with an area of ​​497,766 hectares in the Kyiv region.

The work was started by the UDS team at the beginning of July.

Currently, UDS specialists are finalizing reports based on the results of the survey in order to enter them into the IMSMA database.

"The territory of the study was quite large, but our experts completed the survey work quite quickly," - notes Dmytro Garbuzov, head of the NTO 1 UDS group.

"NTO was carried out mainly with the help of UAVs. According to the results of the survey, we can already say that 59.52 hectares of 497.766 hectares have been identified as clean, and the remains of military operations have been identified on the territory of 438.26 hectares. We are currently preparing relevant reports for submission to IMSMA."

It is important to note that the surveyed land plots belong to the category of especially valuable lands.
