UDS sappers found explosive objects in Mykolaiv region

UDS sappers have completed a non-technical survey of 5 land plots of the State Forests of Ukraine State Agricultural Enterprise with a total area of 23.34 hectares. During the NTO in the Mykolaiv region, our sappers found explosive objects left behind by the occupiers. Among them are the Uragan MLRS, fragments of air defense systems, and numerous cluster munitions, which pose a serious threat to the civilian population and infrastructure. 

The next stage is a technical survey of the sites. Maintenance can be carried out separately or in conjunction with demining operations. Technical inspection of contaminated areas with the use of technical means makes it possible to:

🔺 find/collect direct evidence of the presence of explosive objects or, conversely, refute previously obtained evidence of contamination;

🔺analyze the data obtained;

— to prepare proposals for prioritizing the unblocking of such territories by demining or confirming the classification of the territory by hazard status.
