UDS sappers continue demining efforts in Mykolaiv region

Humanitarian demining of the "Savanna" farmlands in Snigurivka, Bashtansky district, Mykolaiv region, is ongoing.

To fulfill the state order, UDS sappers started demining 250 hectares of the "Savanna" farm in October, which is planned to be completed by the end of this year.

The work is led by Igor Gushchel, who successfully completed training in Slovakia on operating the Bozena remote-controlled demining machine. Under Igor's leadership, sappers using these robotic machines are working to clear Mykolaiv region.

The territory is currently contaminated with unexploded ordnance. A farm combine was blown up on an anti-tank mine in this very field.

UDS continues to work on its main mission - to restore war-contaminated lands to life.
