UDS sappers confirmed their skills in providing pre-medical assistance

Each of them received a Level II certificate “First at the Scene”, valid until 2030.

During the training, 18 UDS sappers, under the guidance of experienced instructors, practiced the most important skills:

✔️ stopping bleeding,

✔️ providing aid for injuries and burns,

✔️ stabilizing a victim before medics arrive, and more.

The training was conducted by the Ukrainian Training Center “Defender” of the Public Organization “Voluntary Fire Protection of Kyiv.”The program lasted 40 hours.

Such knowledge is vital, as sappers work every day in extremely dangerous conditions where every second matters. They are often the first to be near victims in case of an explosion or other emergency.

The ability to quickly stop bleeding, stabilize a person’s condition, and support them until medics arrive often becomes the decisive factor between life and death!
