UDS received gratitude from local authorities for mine action in Kyiv region

"UDS deminers are completing a non-technical survey of land plots of the Ivankiv community with a total area of 1050 hectares. During the survey, the employees demonstrated high professionalism, efficiency and scrupulousness in their work, and the heads of the NTS teams are in constant contact with the leadership and farmers of the Ivankiv community. The plans for further cooperation include a request for additional agricultural areas with an estimated area of 500 hectares.

We express our gratitude for the high professionalism, efficiency and effectiveness of UDS activities aimed at restoring agricultural production on the demined land plots," said Maryna Beschastna, deputy head of the village council on executive bodies of the council.

As a reminder, on 29 February 2024, UDS and Ivankiv village council of Vyshgorod district, Kyiv region, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of mine action. The Memorandum defined the mechanisms of cooperation and the priority needs of the community regarding agricultural land that needs to be cleared of explosive hazards.

UDS's mission is to bring back to life the land contaminated by war!
