UDS Paramedics Awarded by the Ministry of Defense

Colonel Ruslan Bereguly, Head of the Main Directorate for Countermine Activities, Civil Protection and Environmental Safety of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, presented medals "For Contribution to Defense" to UDS medical workers Alyona Kotsiurubenko and Yevhen Chernykh for saving civilians as a result of an explosion on an unknown explosive device that occurred in Mykolaiv region.

"You make a huge contribution to the development of our country. The professionalism and courage demonstrated by you during the incident in Mykolaiv region deserve the highest praise," noted Colonel Ruslan Bereguly, Head of the Main Directorate for Countermine Activities, Civil Protection and Environmental Safety of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, during the award ceremony.

As a reminder, on November 19, a tragedy occurred near the village of Myrne. Employees of the Canal Management neglected warnings about the danger and were blown up by an unknown explosive device. Thanks to the prompt actions of our medics, the victims received qualified assistance.
