UDS Paid Over UAH 20 Million in Taxes to the Snihurivka Community Budget

Over UAH 20.4 million in taxes were paid to the budget of the Snihurivka community in the past year by Ukrainian Demining Services LLC (UDS). This was announced by UDS Technical Director Eduard Drach during the official opening of the Community Safety Center in the city of Snihurivka, Mykolaiv region.

According to Eduard Drach, in the period from 2024 to 2025, UDS specialists surveyed 1,021.917 hectares and cleared mines from 479.341 hectares within the Snihurivka territorial community. Currently, 174 UDS employees are working in the community, making the company one of the largest employers and taxpayers in the region.

πŸ’¬ β€œOver the past year, we have worked to prepare the Center for opening. It now houses community police officers, medical personnel, a fire brigade, and all essential community services. Also present here are deminers from Ukrainian Demining Services β€” one of the most effective companies registered in our community. This is important not only from a security perspective but also economically β€” they are among the largest contributors to our local budget. This is a powerful interagency structure that delivers critical services to the community,” β€” said Ivan Kukhta, Head of the Snihurivka City Military Administration.

Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, thanked international partners for their support and emphasized the importance of developing a security system within the region’s communities. He also noted that safety centers increase crime detection rates by 30–40 percent.

πŸ’¬ β€œWe must ensure that surveillance cameras are installed in every community and create a unified video monitoring system. We are very grateful to our international partners, especially Denmark, for their existing support. We have 52 communities β€” it is extremely difficult to cover them all, but we will do it. We see this Center as a pilot project β€” it will show what a modern safety system should look like in every community,” β€” stated Vitalii Kim.

The opening of the Safety Center was attended by national and international security stakeholders, including:

  1. Mykola Panasenko, Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service (SES) in the Mykolaiv Region
  2. Pavlo Volovyk, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine
