UDS joined the conference “Institutional Reform in the Mine Action Sector”

Organizer: Ukrainian Association for Humanitarian Demining and Recovery.

From UDS, the company’s Director of Economics, Oleksandr Romaniuk, took part in the event.

During the conference, participants discussed key topics such as:

🔺 the architecture of the mine action sector;

🔺 the implementation of a unified information system;

🔺 the introduction of modern financial instruments, among others.

The event brought together representatives of the Ministries of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, the Humanitarian Demining Center, the Ukrainian National Association for Humanitarian Demining, the Association of Small Cities of Ukraine, as well as mine action operators and other stakeholders.

Representatives of the Ministries and the Humanitarian Demining Center expressed support for the initiatives and reform directions proposed during the conference.
