UDS Implements Anti-Corruption Program

Ukrainian demining services, a national demining operator, takes a highly responsible approach to organizing its work. Guided by the principles of zero tolerance for corruption and recognizing the responsibility for upholding the values of the rule of law and integrity, striving to ensure its sustainable development, and caring about its own business reputation,to encourage the use of fair business practices, and in the interests of its employees, business partners, and clients, UDS has decided to introduce an Anti-Corruption Program.

The purpose of this Program is to ensure the operation of an effective system for preventing and combating corruption, to ensure compliance of the company's activities with the requirements of anti-corruption legislation, taking into account best world practices. This program will define a set of measures to prevent, detect, and combat corruption in UDS activities. “We are part of modern European society, where, in addition to democratic values and freedoms, great attention is paid to transparency in all areas and spheres of activity. This is not about control, it is about trust in each other,” emphasized the Deputy General Director of the company, Volodymyr Beshley.

Currently, the discussion of the draft Anti-Corruption Program has begun. The draft Anti-Corruption Program is posted on the official UDS website (https://uds.pro), employees must log in. Thus, everyone can familiarize themselves with the draft document, as well as provide their suggestions and recommendations by sending them to the email address office@uds.pro. After collecting all proposals/recommendations, the draft Anti-Corruption Program will be finalized and submitted for consideration and approval by the UDS Supervisory Board.
