UDS has successfully passed the final stage of the process of demining water areas

Water area demining will become the eighth type of demining to be carried out by UDS

The on-site conformity assessment was conducted by the State Certification Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The company already employs 5 sapper divers with relevant skills and experience.

“Almost 30% of Ukraine's mined areas are water areas. That is why we prioritize not only land but also underwater demining. Our company is constantly developing and will soon be able to carry out 8 out of 9 possible humanitarian demining processes. Our team of experienced deminers is ready to perform such tasks,” emphasized Eduard Drach, UDS Technical Director.

We remind you that UDS currently has a full cycle of territory clearance and is certified in 7 types of humanitarian demining:

- non-technical survey

- technical survey,

- manual demining,

- demining with the use of machines and mechanisms,

- clearing the area of hostilities,

- informing the population about the risks associated with mines and ERW and neutralizing (destroying) ERW.
