UDS conducted public awareness work in Snihurivka

As agreed upon during a meeting with the head of the Snihurivka City Military Administration, Ivan Kukhta (https://www.facebook.com/share/p/AoRiVMg3b8juS5wD/?).

At the request of the city's Military Administration, UDS operators conducted a relevant event for the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Snihurivka City Military Administration. Twenty-three representatives from the department participated.

In addition to a general lecture on mine safety and the danger of explosive devices, participants were provided with additional materials, including booklets on mine safety and similar children's booklets.

Earlier, UDS specialists conducted a training on the basics of tactical medicine for village leaders from eight communities in Mykolaiv Oblast.

Overall, all activities in Mykolaiv Oblast by UDS are carried out within the framework of a memorandum signed with the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration (https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0zUcEv7KQcAnkfwwFxXTZm5o4o94aLFK8XyjoPqebjbLNkZpbb7YjyDcchVnHdaUvl&id=6155237789836).

Due to the war initiated by Russia against Ukraine, our country's territory is one of the most contaminated with explosive objects in the world. One of the main problems on areas contaminated with explosive objects is the death and injury among the civilian population from mines and UXO. Therefore, awareness-raising activities for the population about the risks associated with mines and explosive remnants of war are highly relevant. It is crucial that such educational work is conducted by certified operators in mine action, such as UDS.

We are doing everything to ensure that people are informed about the risks of mines and explosive remnants of war, encouraging them to behave consciously to minimize the risks that pose a danger to life and health, property, and the environment.

Be aware and take care of yourself and the environment. And we will help you. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦
