UDS conducted a two-day training session

Over two days, 43 UDS employees, department heads, group leaders, and work managers familiarized themselves with updated reporting templates and changes in standard operating procedures. They also worked through a case study exercise based on real-world scenarios to practice the documentation process for humanitarian mine action (HMA).

UDS Technical Director Eduard Drach explained that UDS has ambitious plans for this year, which require coordinated, flawless work, and high-quality documentation.

The company's management presented the team with strategic goals for 2025. These include increasing the number of demining machines to 15 and the staff to 500 specialists.

"We are capable of and plan to clear more than 5,000 hectares of land this year and return it to agricultural use. Our non-technical survey (NTS) teams are set to conduct high-quality NTS assessments over an area of more than 17,000 hectares this year," noted the UDS CEO.

Immediately following this training, starting from January 17, 2025, UDS demining teams will begin work in Kyiv and Mykolaiv regions.
