UDS cleared 1,994 hectares in Kyiv Region — 1,511 hectares already back in use
UDS conducted monitoring of cleared territories in Kyiv region. Over the entire period of operations, a total of 1,994.99 hectares of land have been demined and cleared of explosive hazards. Of these, 1,511.18 hectares have already been fully returned to agricultural use.
Sites in Kyiv region include:
- Institute of Potato Research of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine
- Sole Proprietor O.V. Kryvosheia
- Derenkivets Agricultural LLC
A full agricultural cycle is already underway on the cleared fields: disc harrowing, cultivation, and sowing. Agricultural machinery is back in the fields — the clearest sign that the land is returning to life. Feedback from land users confirms there is trust, and they are continuing their work.

Following the full-scale invasion, this field was mined and unsuitable for any use. Our team fully completed the demining of approximately 500 hectares, and most of the plots have passed external quality control and were officially recognized as safe. The enterprise is now bringing its fields back into operation.
The mission of UDS is to bring war-contaminated land back to life!
Special thanks to the Borodianka Branch of Derenkivets Agricultural LLC for the great video footage!
