UDS carried out work on informing the population in Snigurivka
UDS specialists held four sessions for 56 residents of the Sniguriv community: two sessions were held for employees of the Sniguriv city administration, one was organized for representatives of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Sniguriv city military administration, and the other was for village heads of the Sniguriv community.
During the training sessions, UDS specialists talked about the different types of ammunition that can be found in this community, their dangers and the rules of safe behavior in the event of the detection of munitions.
In addition to the general lecture on mine safety and the danger of explosive objects, additional materials were distributed to the participants - mine safety booklets, similar children's booklets, as well as QR codes with an electronic version of the booklet.
Due to the war that Russia started against Ukraine, the territory of our country is one of the most polluted by explosive objects in the world. One of the main problems arising in areas contaminated by explosive objects is the death and maiming of the civilian population from mines and UXO.
That is why measures to inform the population about the risks associated with mines and explosive remnants of war are very relevant. And it is important that such educational work is carried out by certified operators of mine countermeasures, which is UDS.
One of the tasks of the UDS is to educate the public about the risks associated with mines and other explosive remnants of war. And also actively carry out information and educational activities to raise people's awareness of these risks and prevent any unpleasant incidents.
Our task is to make the environment for the life and development of our citizens safe. We work to reduce risks to a minimum, creating conditions where economic and social development can flourish without limitations.
UDS has created a specialized group for informing the population, which has already carried out more than 100 information activities in the Mykolaiv, Kyiv and Donetsk regions.
