UDS at the Kharkiv Forum: Presented the сompany’s сapabilities to participants
Today in Kharkiv, the forum “Promoting the Profession of a Deminer – Safety and Future” took place, organized jointly with the Mine Action Coordination Center.
UDS was represented by the head of the “East” department, Ihor Ovcharuk, who actively joined the discussions and presented the company’s capabilities to the participants.
📍 Our contribution to demining in Kharkiv region:
• more than 100 UDS sappers are working in the region;
• 6 modern demining machines are in operation;
• nearly 1,000 hectares are currently under clearance;
• in August alone, we demined and cleared more than 300 hectares of fertile land from the remnants of war.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, pyrotechnic units have already detected and neutralized over 298,000 explosive devices in Kharkiv region. Today, we are increasing the pace. This is possible, in particular, thanks to our domestic production. A Kharkiv-based company has developed the first experimental demining machine, which is already operating successfully. This means that industry and business are moving forward and responding to the challenges of the time.Currently, there are 110 demining teams from 21 international and national mine action operators working in the region. For operational demining, 131 groups from the State Transport Special Service, Armed Forces of Ukraine, State Emergency Service, and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service of the National Police of Ukraine have been deployed. In addition, 100 mechanized demining machines are being used,”— emphasized Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
🤝 We thank the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the Mine Action Coordination Center, and our colleagues from other organizations for their partnership and our shared goal — restoring safety and bringing life back to liberated land.
💙💛 Step by step, we are getting closer to the day when all of Ukraine will be free from mines and explosive remnants of war.
