UDS and Charity Fund "Return to Life" will cooperate on implementing new technologies and methods of humanitarian demining.
The parties signed a corresponding memorandum of cooperation on October 11.
In addition, UDS, together with the Charity Fund "Return to Life" , will work to attract charitable donations for the most effective elimination of the consequences of the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine and to assist those affected by the Russian armed aggression.
This includes attracting investments, as well as introducing technologies and best practices; facilitating deeper cooperation between experts to exchange experience and vision of effective, efficient and rational solutions in the field of mine action and humanitarian demining.
"This memorandum and further cooperation are aimed at strengthening economic, scientific, technical and technological cooperation in the field of humanitarian demining in Ukraine to reduce the mine threat to a level at which people can safely live in their homes and develop their land. Where economic and social development can again take place without hindrance," emphasized Volodymyr Beshlei, Acting General Director of UDS.
"Our foundation has been operating for 9 years. All this time, we have been helping ATO/JFO soldiers, and in recent years, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and communities affected by the invaders. Recently, we have expanded our scope of activities, becoming a certified mine action operator for all 5 processes of humanitarian demining. I am convinced that in cooperation with UDS we will do even more good deeds," added Kateryna Skrypnikova, head of the Charity Fund "Return to Life".
