UDS acquires four additional Germina machines

UDS has acquired four additional Germina demining machines.

With these new additions, the company now operates a fleet of five Germina machines, marking the expansion of the Mechanized Demining Department and further increasing our operational capacity and productivity.

All five machines are currently deployed at the sites of Landex Agro LLC and Yug-M Agricultural Company LLC in the Kharkiv region, where they have already demonstrated strong performance.

"Germina delivers high productivity and effectively processes soil even in challenging conditions. The terrain in the Kharkiv region is demanding, yet the machine handles it confidently thanks to its reliable chassis, which performs exceptionally well.

The system’s key advantage is its remote-control capability at distances of up to 7 km. This feature has been thoughtfully designed with both the demining machine operator and the drone operator in mind, significantly enhancing personnel safety. In addition, after the machine has completed its work, deminers can enter the area with greater confidence," said Ihor Hushel, Head of the Mechanized Demining Department.

We would also like to remind candidates that UDS is currently recruiting for its mechanized demining team for the following positions: Humanitarian Deminer, Mechanic, and Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) Operator.

Operations will be carried out in the de-occupied territories of Kyiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions.
