UAR sapper-mechanics learn to operate the GERMINA machine

The training is conducted by UDS specialists in accordance with an agreement with the Kramatorsk Heavy Duty Machine Tool Building Plant (KZVV). It is at this enterprise that the GERMINA remotely operated demining systems are manufactured, three of which were recently acquired by the Ukrainian Agency for Demining (UAR).

The training course was developed by specialists from UDS and KZVV. The program lasts two weeks and includes both theoretical training and practical sessions on operating the machine.

After completing the course, participants will take exams and receive certificates confirming completion of the training program for operators-mechanics of the GERMINA remotely operated system. The certificate confirms authorization to operate the machine and perform its technical maintenance.

It should be noted that UDS have their own training ground and have been operating the GERMINA machine for more than a year.

In total, the company has acquired 7 such machines: three have already been delivered, while the remaining ones will arrive during this spring.
