As the occupier retreats from Ukrainian land, they leave behind a significant amount of contamination in the form of explosive devices. They continuously improve methods of mining territories and devise various insidious improvised devices that pose a deadly danger to the population.
Today, UDS demining experts, along with DSNS specialists, exchanged experience on the application of various methods for detecting and neutralizing explosive devices as part of the humanitarian demining program.
During the joint coordination, our sappers familiarized themselves with modern types of mine threats and discussed the technical characteristics of each type of ammunition that we are determined to clear from our lands.
All participants had the opportunity for practical reinforcement of the acquired knowledge by examining models of various mines, shells, fragments, and grenades actively used by the Russian aggressor during hostilities.
