The Ministry of Economy has launched a website for farmers who want to participate in the state demining program
The platform was created in collaboration between the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Humanitarian Demining Center, and UNDP Ukraine, with financial support from the Republic of Korea.

On the website, farmers can, in just a few steps, check their eligibility for participation, review the application submission instructions via the State Agrarian Register, and avoid common mistakes. This marks the first stage of a large-scale information campaign aimed at involving more farmers in the program and improving the quality of submitted applications.
💬 Ihor Bezkrovainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine for Humanitarian Demining:
"Last year, the Ministry of Economy, together with the Humanitarian Demining Center, launched the state program. Over 1,300 hectares have already been returned to farmers for safe cultivation. More than 7,000 hectares are currently in progress and will soon be safe. But — and here's the important part — we need more applications. More farmers need to know that the Government pays for demining fields. More farmers need to submit correct applications. Now, there is a single website where farmers can easily check if they meet the program requirements. It also provides detailed instructions on how to correctly submit an application to ensure it gets approved. Because more applications = more land cleared of mines. Which means more farmers working safely, strengthening Ukraine's economy, and supporting global food security."
☝️ UDS reminds: participation in the compensation program is only possible after conducting a Non-Technical Survey (NTS) of the land plot. This is the first and mandatory step every farmer must take.
❗️According to Volodymyr Baida, Director of the Humanitarian Demining Center, the most common reason for rejection from the program is the absence of an NTS on the plots submitted for compensation. This year alone, there have been 102 such rejected applications.
💬 "If a farmer has not yet undergone a Non-Technical Survey and needs to do so — UDS provides such services. Go to the UDS website, to the 'Order' section, where instructions are available on how to submit a request for an NTS," says Serhii Simonov, Commercial Director of UDS.
