The 28th International Meeting of Mine Action National Directors and United Nations Advisers (NDM-UN28) has started in Geneva
This annual global conference serves as a key platform for sharing experiences, shaping strategic decisions, and developing policy in the field of mine action. It brings together international donors, UN advisers, mine action operators, researchers, representatives of international organizations, the private sector, and civil society from around the world.
🔹 UDS is participating in the conference and will present Ukraine’s experience in mechanized demining. UDS representative Serhii Kryvohuz will speak at the thematic panel “Mechanized Demining”, where he will highlight the company’s key achievements and operational indicators.
🔹 Also attending from Ukraine are representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Humanitarian Demining Center, and other national partners.
This event has brought together leaders and experts in mine action to network and exchange views on urgent challenges facing the sector.
🤝 Over the course of three days, participants will discuss key topics, share experiences, and foster effective international cooperation.

During the conference, experts will discuss prospects and challenges of mine action in Ukraine, which is aimed at protecting the lives and health of civilians through clearance operations, disposal of explosive remnants of war, and public awareness of mine risks.
