Supervisory Board of UDS Approves Anti-Corruption Program

The Supervisory Board of UDS, at its meeting chaired by Jaroslav Nad, approved the company's Anti-Corruption Program.

“Our company takes a very responsible attitude to the organization of its work and the implementation of anti-corruption policies is one of the important steps. Therefore, guided by the principles of zero tolerance for corruption, we have approved and will implement the Anti-Corruption Program,” emphasized the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of UDS,former Minister of Defense of Slovakia, Jaroslav Nad.

The goal of this Program is to ensure the functioning of an effective system for the prevention and counteraction of corruption, to ensure compliance of the company's activities with the requirements of anti-corruption legislation, taking into account the best world practices.

This program will define a set of measures to prevent, detect, and counter corruption in UDS activities.

“Ukraine, like Ukrainian business, is an integral part of European society, in which, in addition to democratic values, rights and freedoms, special attention is paid to the openness of processes. UDS in its work is guided by both Ukrainian legislation and international standards and practices. The Anti-Corruption Program is just one such step. Earlier, the Supervisory Board approved the Procedure for the implementation of environmental policy, the Policy against violence and sexual exploitation, the Concept of implementation and adherence to gender policy, the Policy on the use of alcohol and drugs. These are important steps towards building an environmentally friendly working environment in the team,” emphasized a member of the Supervisory Board of UDS, former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, head of the Ukrainian National Humanitarian Demining Association Mary Akopyan.

The draft of the Anti-Corruption Program was discussed by the team before it was submitted for approval to the Supervisory Board.
