Started Demining of the Next Site in Kharkiv Region
UDS has begun humanitarian demining operations of farmland in Kharkiv region, Izium district, within the Oskil rural territorial community.
Already in the first days of work, sappers discovered an anti-tank mine, confirming the possible presence of a mine barrier.
In addition, there is a threat of cluster antipersonnel mines, which pose a particular danger to people and agricultural machinery.
For the task, we have deployed our Bozena 4+ mechanized demining machines, which accelerate the process and make it as safe as possible for the sappers.
The total area to be cleared is 10.6 hectares. The plot belongs to FOP Zolotarov L.H.
The demining of this site was awarded through a ProZorro tender. The client is the Humanitarian Demining Center.
We plan to complete the clearance within 30 days to return the farmland to the farmer and make it suitable for safe use.
🔔 Reminder: For farmers to apply for demining of their lands, the first step is to conduct a free Non-Technical Survey (NTS).If contamination is confirmed during the survey, the farmer can apply through the DAR platform and receive state compensation for humanitarian demining costs.
