Six сontracts иetween UDS and the Humanitarian Demining Center in Kharkiv Region terminated due to the advancing front line

At the initiative of the Humanitarian Demining Center, six land demining contracts in Izium district, Kharkiv region, have been terminated due to the advancing front line and the inclusion of the land plots within the 20-kilometer zone from the line of combat contact.

Work under these contracts had previously been suspended multiple times because of the deteriorating security situation.

At the same time, UDS completed a significant volume of work, and the termination of the contracts has resulted in multimillion-hryvnia losses.

Despite this, Ukrainian Demining Services continue operations on land plots in Kharkiv region that are outside the 20-kilometer zone. These include agricultural lands of Landex Agro LLC (875.6 ha) and Agrofirm Yug-M LLC (217 ha), as well as sites belonging to Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC (120 ha).

Over the past year, UDS returned 918 hectares of territory in Kharkiv region to safe use. This includes agricultural lands cleared under contracts with the Humanitarian Demining Center:

The total value of completed contracts with the Humanitarian Demining Center in Kharkiv region amounts to UAH 31.2 million.
