Ongoing demining operations at the lands of Landex Agro LLC

The site, covering approximately 875 hectares, is located in Kharkiv region. The UDS Mechanical Demining Department has been redeployed to the area.

Six remotely operated systems are involved in machine- and equipment-based demining operations:

🔺 4 Bozena 5+ demining systems

🔺 a certified Germina machine

🔺 the “Zmii” demining system

A total of 43 demining specialists are currently engaged in operations, with up to 100 sappers planned to be deployed overall.

“The security situation here remains challenging. We continuously monitor all developments, and if the situation worsens, operations will be immediately suspended, as safety is our top priority,” said UDS Technical Director Eduard Drach.

According to non-technical survey (NTS) data, the site is contaminated with explosive hazards ranging from anti-personnel mines to Uragan cluster munitions, as well as anti-vehicle mines.

The land plots of Landex Agro LLC are classified as agricultural land; however, they have not been used for their intended purpose for a long time. This is evidenced by dense grassy vegetation typical of land that has not undergone agricultural cultivation.
