Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration honors UDS team leaders for successful demining efforts

Georhiy Reshetilov, First Deputy Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on behalf of Vitaliy Kim, the Head of the Administration, presented awards to three leaders of mechanized demining teams from UDS.

Honorary diplomas for demining and clearing Mykolaiv region of the scars of war were awarded to UDS team leaders Artem Dudulyk, Andriy Zadorozhnyy, and Igor Hushel.

The awards ceremony took place today during a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Clearing the Territories of Mykolaiv Region of Explosive Ordnance.

As a reminder, in early 2024, the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration and UDS signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on demining activities in Mykolaiv region. Over the past year, as a result of this cooperation, UDS sappers have demined and cleared 160 hectares of land using Bozena 5+ remote-controlled mine clearance vehicles.
