Kyiv region: UDS started demining with Bozena 5+ machines

Within the framework of the UDS Memorandum, the NTO of 9.1 hectares of land of the Makariv community of the Kyiv region was carried out. During the non-technical survey, remnants of the war, the threat of anti-personnel mines and stretch marks were discovered. Therefore, it was decided to demine this area with the help of a specialized demining machine Bozena 5+.

Under the leadership of Yuriy Podopryhora, the mechanized demining group No. 5 began clearing the Makariv community of explosive objects.

Makarivshchyna is one of the most war-affected districts of the Kyiv region, which survived the occupation of the Russians in 2022. There are many areas contaminated by explosives left behind by orcs.
