International Partnership for Ukraine’s Safety: UDS and iMFAD Join Forces!

UDS and the Humanitarian Mine Action Association (iMFAD, Turkey) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation!

This document lays a strong foundation for joint efforts, mutual learning, and support for communities most affected by the armed conflict in Ukraine.

What does our partnership involve?

🔹 Joint needs assessments and coordination with local communities and authorities.

🔹 Development of joint humanitarian demining programmes, including the survey and clearance of areas contaminated by explosive ordnance.

🔹 Mobilization of international grants and funding to support the recovery of Ukrainian land.

Strength through the synergy of experience 🤝

UDS is one of Ukraine’s largest certified national mine action operators, focusing on one of the fastest and safest approaches — the use of demining machines, including the Ukrainian-made GERMINA URCM-3000 remote-controlled demining machine.

Humanitarian Mine Action Association (iMFAD, Turkey) is an experienced organization that has been addressing the mine threat internationally since 2017, including in Türkiye and Syria, and has been officially registered in Ukraine since 2025.
